Guided Meditation To Facilitate Creative Life Changes

"Creativity is the quality that you bring to the activity you are doing. It is an attitude, an inner approach - how you look at things. Whatsoever you do, if you do it joyfully, if you do it lovingly, if your act of doing is not purely economical, then it is creative. Love what you do. Be meditative while you are doing it - whatsoever it is!"  -  Osho

PART I - Active Stage:
Breathing into the heart in a continuous rhythm is the single most important element in this meditation, this song of gratitude. The instructions for the meditation are in English. In the first part of the active stage you are guided to express and feel gratitude for people and situations in your life, opening your heart to yourself and to the world around you. You are supported to acknowledge and accept the perfection of what you have already created in your life, feeling gratitude for what you have here now.

Once your heart is opened by expressing gratitude, the second part of the active stage guides you to breathe and relax in order to become clear about a new nurturing experience which you would like to create. You are asked, “If you knew you were absolutely safe, what would you do, what would you create in your life that you’re not allowing yourself to experience now?” You are supported to consciously feel the sensations associated with your new desire and in doing so you open up a space for the possibility of change to occur. The final question - “What is the one thing you are willing to actively do today to support your creation to happen?” - helps you feel your commitment to allowing your creation to manifest.

PART II - Passive Stage:

Meditation is a state of relaxed awareness which clears and calms the mind. Numerous studies have shown that meditation is good for you mentally, promotes overall better health, and...
  1. Your brain produces alpha and theta waves.
  2. Your heart rate slows down.
  3. Your muscles relax.
  4. Your blood pressure falls.

Sit silently for 15 minutes, after which a bell will ring. Just watch the breathing in your navel center. Watch the belly going in and out, and watch your thoughts and feelings as one would watch clouds floating across a blue sky.

Listening to the Audio:

1. Arrange for there to be no distractions for 45 minutes or more.
2. Play the audio through external speakers instead of headphones.
3. Do not do this meditation while driving.
